Ally’s career in the dental field covers over eight years now, and she loves how excited patients get about the way their teeth feel after a good cleaning! She studied at both the University of South Florida and the University of Santa Fe College, earning her hygiene degree at the latter. She continues to seek out further education, becoming an RDH and pursuing expanded functions training. She has spent years of experience in pediatric dentistry and is also trained in local anesthesia. She’s also regularly worked with the Alachua County Organization for Rural Needs (ACORN), which provides important dental care to at-risk families.
At home, Ally’s husband Matt is a post-doctoral candidate in neuroscience, and they have a sweet dog named Sydney. Her hobbies include being a group fitness instructor at Gold’s Gym, hiking, camping, skiing, scuba diving, and visiting family and friends in other states. She also regularly goes on backpacking trips with Matt and Sydney, including a recent trip to see a total solar eclipse!
Hugo joined Lansdowne Family Dental with over a decade of experience in the oral healthcare profession. He actually graduated high school thinking he wanted to study mechanical engineering because he liked cars, but his career path quickly changed. After having the opportunity to work in a dental office, he discovered he loved the field.
Originally from Lima, Peru, Hugo earned his education from Northern Virginia Community College. He is married and enjoys working out at the gym, playing football, and studying nutritional science whenever he has free time.
Alona attended Bergen Community College for her education, and she holds certifications in a wide variety of important topics, including HIPPA, BLS, CPR, OSHA, and jurisprudence. Today, her career in the dental field spans over five years so far. Her favorite part of this work is being able to educate patients about ways to improve and maintain good oral health.
Born and raised in Ukraine, Alona is now married with a daughter and a fish named Nemo. She enjoys spending quality time with family outside of work, as well as going to different parks, traveling, and reading books. When she was little, she was actually terrified of going to the dentist! Today, she’s thankful to have changed her views and now tries to do the same for every patient who also struggles with dental-related phobias.
Miriam has over a decade of dental experience under her belt, and she first joined the Lansdowne Family Dental team in 2015. Her favorite part of this job is getting to know the patients so well and help them achieve their oral health goals! She received her training from Allied Health Career Training College and holds certifications in dental assisting, radiography, and CPR.
At home, Miriam is happily married with two wonderful children. Her hobbies include traveling and spending plenty of quality time with family and friends.
Emmanuel has been working in the dental field for almost two years now, and he loves his job because everyone shares the same goals and aspirations to provide excellent oral healthcare to patients. He studied at East Coast Polytechnic Institute and would like to study dental hygiene in the future. He is also certified in infection control and radiology.
Originally from Ghana, Emmanuel’s interests outside of the practice include soccer, music, and group dancing. Happiness is a major key to his lifestyle, and he loves to have fun in everything he does!
Nita has worked in the dental field since 2013, first joining Lansdowne Family Dental in 2015. Her kindness and compassion make her a great fit for handling patients, and she’s always ready with a smile at the front desk that makes even the most anxious visitors feel right at home.
Outside of the office, Nita has family all around the world and enjoys traveling and exploring different cultures in her free time. As a true adventurer and a Gemini, she never shies away from a new experience.
Born in Costa Rica, Priscilla has now lived in Virginia for over two decades now. Her career in dentistry spans three years and counting, and she loves working with such a wonderful team here at Lansdowne Family Dental to provide the best care possible to patients in need.
Priscilla has a hardworking, loving family at home. Outside of work, she spends her time hiking and exploring with her Siberian Husky Alko, baking, cooking, running, and enjoying cold weather (her favorite). She also loves reading books and then watching the movie versions of them!
